Jóvenes Creadoras Dance Days

On Saturday, March 23rd, Jóvenes Creadoras Dance Day was celebrated in the Federico García Lorca Center as a part of the Danza Sin Barreras Dance Days (Dance Without Barriers). This event focused on new and young dance creators, especially those who are part of Cía. Danza Vinculados’s Children and Junior groups.

A partial presentation of their new creation Esfera (Sphere) was carried out by Cía. Danza Vinculados Children and performed by six dancers between the ages of 9 and 12 years old.

The performance of the choreographic duets under the tutoring program of Cía. Danza Vinculados carried out within the Danza Sin Barreras project. The first choreographic duet being COUNTING STARS, under the choreographic co-direction of Marta Casares and Anabel Caballero and performed by the dancers Eliszka Sobokta and Francisco Granados. The second choreographic duo being EL ESTEREOTIPO DEL CUERVO (The Crow’s Stereotype) under the choreographic direction of Andrea Ruíz and performed by Anabel Romero and Candela Carrasco.

The partial performance of Cía. Danza Vinculados Junior’s new show entitled Cuenta atrás (Countdown) under the co-choreographic direction of Carmen Vilches and Lara Balboa and with the support of Almudena Ballesteros, Sara Fernández and Nadia Vigueras.

To end this event, a discussion was held with the audience about the company’s work and the experiences of the participants and members.
