We received the Scottish company YDance with a welcome typical Tapas dinner in the city center of Granada: Tapas in some bars in the center of the city.
Along the way we personalize some of the letters that we would later use to create the words “HORIZONTES VINCULADOS”.

We visited the Alhambra.
We attended a participatory video workshop led by utopiaSocialFilms. They showed us how to use the video cameras and helped us to create audiovisual material that we would later use.
In the evening, we went to Le Chien Andalou, where we experienced a Flamenco night accompanied with a delicious paella.

We went for a walk through the beautiful neighborhoods of Granada the Albaicín and the Sacromonte.
Our choreographer Sara Fernández led the first cultural exchange workshop: Flamenco.

More than sixty young students received us at the Severo Ochoa High School in Granada for a linguistic dance exchange through the dance. We worked on the theme of fears, also present during the whole week of the project.

The Scottish choreographers Kelly Shearer and Jessica Ho of the YDance company led the second cultural exchange workshop: schottish country dance.
Also, took place the participatory debate to encourage reflection, analysis and the construction of an inclusive discourse, which was one of the most important objectives of this project.

The afternoons of Monday, Wednesday and Friday were structured in two parts. The first, focused on contemporary dance technique, led by Lara Balboa (Cía. Danza Vinculados) and the second focused to on creative process and choreography, directed by Carmen Vilches (Cía Danza Vinculados) and Kelly Shearer (YDance).

The last day of the project we did a public sharing at the Armilla Theatre (Granada) where we showed the work developped during the whole week.
After the show we did a question-answer between the audience and the dancers, where we talked about the creative process and the work with the group.
To close this fantastic week, we enjoyed a great dinner in which we gave certificates to all the participants.
